Veramonte Primus'03, Chile

A very dry and spicy Chilean wine.



Technical Data:21% Carmenère, 43% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon from Casablanca Valley, aged 12 months in French and American oak, 25% new

Description:Deep, dark, opaque garnet color. Toasty aromas, with hints of tobacco and leather. Well structured with mature, ripe fruit that exhibits an evolved complexity with a seamless blending of the three varietals. Velvety, with a medium body and smooth, yet powerful tannins.

Food Pairing & Service:Primus pairs beautifully with duck, beef tenderloin, wild game (venison, elk, squab, rabbit), bitter greens (arugula, endive, radicchio), bell peppers, olives, black pepper and vegetables in general.
