Technical Data:Prugnolo gentile 85% (synonym of Sangiovese), 15% remaining is a blend between merlot, canaiolo nero and colorino . Depending of the vintage aged 14-16 months in oak. 80% French oak-barrel. Additional bottle fining for few months prior release.
Description:The garnet colour with orange hues. The fragant bouquet recalls rose's petale, violets scents and berries. On the palate a rich texture for a full-bodied wine focused on ripe berries laced with violet, spice and subtle oaky flavors backboned by solid tannins.
Food Pairing & Service:Particularly well suited for hearty main dishes and well ripened cheeses.
Ageing Potential: 10 - 12 years.
