Hi Virginie, I have enjoyed reading the wine reviews on your site. I am confused about the conundrum though. You say that it is a sweet white wine. Do you mean that it has residual sugar or do you mean that it just doesn't taste bone dry. It has been a long time since I have had Conundrum but I don't remember it being sweet.ReplyDelete
David, sorry for the late answer, regarding the Conundrum white I have to check about the residual sugar because I have to say I don't remember...but fact is it's definitely not dry at all. I'll get back to you later with the answer, thanks for your interest on my wineblog!ReplyDelete
I believe Conundrum has changed recently. I've been drinking it for years and it was great food-or-not-food wine for parties. It used to be dry. I saw the '04 at a great price at the local wine store so I picked up a few bottles. Much to my surpise, it's now sweet! Not Sauterne-sweet, but a lot more that just a touch of sweetness at the finish. Has a screw cap, now, too.ReplyDelete
