George Duboeuf Julienas'03, Beaujolais, France
A very peppery Julienas AOC from Beaujolais region in France. Like it a lot!
Technical Data:100% Gamay. The wine itself is made via a process called carbonic maceration (whole berry fermentation).
Description:Deep dark garnet color. The clayey soil is favorable for the production of rich, powerful and robust wines with a peony/berry nose and peach and raspberry flavor laced with spices . Quite peppery with firm tannins.
Food Pairing & Service:Best chilled during hot weather and delicious with salmon as well as chicken, pork or charcuterie. A nice one to pair with Turkey for Thanksgiving celebration! They age well (5 to 7 years).
