George Duboeuf Beaujolais-Villages'03, Beaujolais, France



Light and fruity red wine from Beaujolais region.

Technical Data:100% Gamay. The wine itself is made via a process called carbonic maceration (whole berry fermentation). They can be drunk either as "Primeur" or within 3 to 4 years.

Description:Almost pink in color, but still that's a red wine! Medium-bodied wine with a good structure, a lush personality, and a sweet, flavorful finish. Pleasant, tender, light, very fruity. The blueberry, blackberry and plum fruit elements are in balance and are complex with a touch of spice and low tannins contents. A good compromise for white and red's wine lovers.

Food Pairing & Service:This is a delicious, inexpensive wine that pairs magically with many foods from cheeses, sausages, to roasted chicken and beef. Serve chilled. Also a good treat for summer time.
