Pascal Jolivet Sancerre’03, Loire Valley, France

Category: Dry Wines, France, White Wines. Posted by Virginie at 00:23.

A full-bodied crisp Sancerre, deliciously citrussy.

Technical Data:100% Sauvignon Blanc.

Description:Clear, light straw-color. This wine shows classic Sauvignon Blanc nose with grassy and citrus-like aromas. On the palate, crisp notes of citrus, fresh lime, enticed with chives, flint and gooseberry flavors. Clean long lasting finish.

Food Pairing & Service:A good accompaniment for a simple summer salad of tasty tomato grape, creamy cheeses like mozzarella with some olive oil and herbs over the top. For a more traditional pairing, will be nice with textured seafood such as a dozen oysters or hearty fish. Serve chilled

Score:9/10
