Casual everyday wine from the Loire Valley.

Technical Data: 100% Melon de Bourgogne also called Muscadet. Low temperature fermentation under inert atmosphere.

Description: Pale straw yellow color. Delicate nose with floral notes. Crisp entrance, lean, subtle and dry medium-bodied wine focused on floral flavors.

Food Pairing & Service: Ideally suited to oysters, seafood and poultry. Serve chilled.

  1. I had the R.P. Muscadet (2005, I believe), it was pretty good. I would add "diesel-y" to the flavor. Maybe it's the minerals, but there is sort of a fume/mineral taste and sensation that adds to the overall complexity of this wine.
